Hi, everyone!
OK, I’m loving the Yig Snake Granddaddy campaign! Serpent people, dinosaurs, yithians, elder things …. sign me up!
I’m curious, though, about the title … Yig Snake Grandaddy. The word Granddaddy struck me as an odd choice at first, but now it’s grown on me. It has a sort of Appalachian ring to it. Anyway, where did the idea for this title come from? Is it a quote from somewhere? Just curious.

I wasn’t aware of the Darkest of the Hillside Thickets song! I’ll have to check that out!
The closest thing I’ve found in the adventure text referencing “Granddaddy” is the encounter with Zoarglott, who says “I see you come here. After you come snake. Great snake. Snake Granddaddy. Yig Snake bring back old times.”
Anyway, I’m really enjoying reading through this campaign!
