Both of John Dark’s abilities say that the Despair Track cannot be moved past 6. Well we have a disagreement about that. Two options.
1) That means he cannot use the ability because the Despair Track cannot be moved.
2) He gets to still use it but the Despair Track cannot be moved so it is basically free.

It’s the first. If he would move the Despair Track past 6, he cannot use the ability.
