Just bought the game yesterday and only skimmed through the core Rulebook but is there info on the world itself, didn’t see any continent maps or is the setting supposed to be dropped in to existing settings?  Again,  I only skimmed the core book and haven’t looked at the adventure book yet.  Thanks in advance!!!

Yes, Sandy Petersen’s Guide to the Cthulhu Mythos is a supplement to use in already existing worlds.

Great, looks like my choice will be Freeport, since it already has a mythos connection.
