I am currently writing an adventure using D&D 5th where monsters, spells and artifacts from the “Sandy Petersen´s Cthulhu Mythos” are mentioned. In the adventure i will make reference your work. The statistics or details of game rules are not indicated, it are only named in the adventure for random encounters, treasure for players or final bosses.
Is it possible to sell my adventure ussing this details?
I would imagine that, were it just mentioning a creature or item (for instance the Necronomicon being on a loot table or something), I would imagine some of that might actually fly; considering that a good bit of the mythos is actually public domain. I would imagine it’s once you get down to the details (and probably some names) of things that you start to hit the things Sandy owns the rights to.
