I just got the laziest answer from support about the books not being sold to Australians because of the cost of storage (and during a promo too that’s another issue). And not once was i offered to be able purchase it with shipping cost added from America.
Which i would have paid and have paid in the past for various unique items and kickstarter’s . You even have, in frequently asked questions about international shipping section where it specifies that Australia is a country where shipping cost can be included because we as a country allow our shipping costs to go through 3rd parties.
You dropped the ball on this one , The solution i was given from the support guy was to find a reseller maybe be able to get a copy from them. For which there are no resellers i could find that have a copy of the book.
The promotor’s with a little forethought could have put numerous solutions in place , and chose to do nothing.
I leave this situation infuriated and unsatisfied.
I Live in New Zealand and had to purchase it through my countries postal service reroute system unfortunately. Now I’m in that dark period of ‘processing’, which according to their site takes quite awhile because of technical issues with their shipping system and website – an it’s apparently 10-15 days for a national delivery. Seriously the jerk around to purchase a product here is ridiculous.
Wait they are not shipping to Australia? I ordered a copy at the end of Feb and they didn’t block me from selecting a shipping address in Australia. Does this mean I am not going to receive my physical copy??
Guess im going to have to contact them and ask for a refund then :(.
