Our group has been enjoying Ghoul Island, and after a six week hiatus due to Covid-19 the PCs finally made it to level 4 through online play. We began the campaign using the character sheets in D&D Beyond back in January. D&D Beyond character sheets can be altered to add just about anything such as new skills. Yog-Sothery comes to mind. Anyway, not sure if Petersen Games have considered reaching out to D&D Beyond to add your 5E resources? I am sold. Their character creation process makes creating 5e characters easy and efficient. D&D Beyond has a reach to millions of gamers, and they create a lot of hype with weekly updates (Check out YouTube). I would love to see a tie in.Â
After a successful first encounter with online play I hope to introduce the PCs to Roll20 the next time we play, especially since they will be exploring the Lava Tubes in Act 1.4. Roll20 allows GMs to create a visual tabletop. One feature that is really cool is dynamic lighting. Well worth checking out. We, I, struggled using theater of the mind doing the battle in the stockade. I hope the addition of Roll20 will make dungeon exploration better.  Â
Just a couple of thoughts as I prepare for next weeks adventure. Nice to have a system in place for distance game play.

Even our group is using D&D Beyond for running the official campaigns at distance since almost 2 years (our GM spent a lot to unlock alll possible expansions for alll of us) and since I discovered recently the Cthulhu D5 and the Mythos Saga we are all seriously discussing that an official expansion for Beyond with all the traits and ability for new races, the description for the new spells, Yog-Sothery and Fear/Madness system will seriuously be very useful for all of us to start Ghoul Island, since many of us are having many problems to understand all these new mechanichs and putting them on a regular character sheet.
For all the long-distance-RP groups that can’t play together in a same room will be a lot useful a Cthulhu D5+ Mythos Saga Expansion for Beyond, we will be all very glad for that.

Having the 5e book through Roll20 compendium would also be fantastic. Kobold Press has a number of products there, and Arcanum Worlds was able to put not only the Odyssey of the Dragonlords campaign on it, but all of the races, subclasses, spells, etc. The main character sheet for 5e also has the ability to create custom skills and global modifiers.

Yea i was able to add Yog Sothery in D&D Beyond as a skill, but unfortunately I haven’t found a way to add Dread as a condition (or insanity) as I would like. Well at least that is how I see Dread and such being used as a condition such as exhaustion in the game.
