I spend some free time of mine making homebrew for Cthulhu Wars and other PG products, and I was wondering if I should post it here.
Normally I just post them on BGG, but since I almost exclusively do games designed (at least partially) by a Petersen, it seems weird to not put them where fans will hang out. I could migrate any ideas I’ve put on BGG here as well, if that’s what people are interested in.
I don’t want to spam the forums with dumb stuff if people are looking for actually important Q&A though, so I’d thought I’d ask for opinions first.
I’d say wait. The forums right now are a little heavy on clutter imo. Understandably, there are other concerns than whether or not the forum looks nice for the PG crew, but we will eventually need some more organization for this place to give all threads a chance to prosper.
Remember to stop by here and leave some thoughts on improvement for when time and resources free up for the crew: https://petersengames.com/foru…..he-forums/

we’re probably going to be adding separate sub-forums for each game type and that will be a good place for homebrews.
Cool! I’ll wait for that then.
What is BGG? I would very much be interested in homebrew, especially if it’s roleplay related like that man o’ nine cats I posted a while ago.
Board Game Geek.
Most of my Homebrew is board game related but I bet there is a ton of stuff on the sister site RPG Geek.
