How does Planet Apocalypse Compare with Cthulhu: Death Must Die?

A recent debate took place on BGG regarding these two games. Here are some of the comments:
I own both (All-in in both cases). After my first game of PA, DMD immediately went on a potentially one-way trip to my storage unit. DMD, to me, feels like a well produced version of something you can find in about 200 other flavors, while PA feels like a unique product with enormous passion behind it.

PA has better demon minis (and more space to put them), if that is of interest. @Ashamel

I own and really like both, but prefer PA. @Geoff

PA is more technical, so better for soloplay or elitist group playing. Both have good balance, mechanics, gameplay, Artistic Direction, design etc. @Xleu
